I had the pleasure of meeting Darlene when I came to California and she has truly been an inspiration to me. Darlene has the art of taking a song, making it her own and giving you chills when you hear her sing it. Darlene is a truly gifted singer whom God has blessed with enormous musical instrument, which is her voice! Knock 'em Dead Darlene and keep on sharing with us! I am glad to have met such a down to earth vocalist!

Darlene has always had a wonderful, soulful, sultry voice...that makes you feel warm like sitting in front of a fireplace on a snowy night. I heard her sing (acapela)in Daly City when I was a kid...she had a professional voice then. I hope I can hear her again soon.
